Asia’s Got Talent: Chasing the Dream with…checks in with past Asia’s Got Talent contestants to see how they’re doing, and what they expect to see in the new season of Asia's Got Talent.

The last time we met Sobhi Shaker, he left everyone – including the judges – in complete awe as he performed some of the most incredible sleight of hand in the history of Asia's Got Talent.

"That was, by far, the best magic we've had", said Jay Park. Jay's sentiments were clearly echoed by Anggun, who added, "You were this close to us. It blew my mind."

That was definitely good news to the then 24-year-old Syrian who was working as a waiter in Kuala Lumpur while chasing his dreams to become a full-time magician. Sobhi's strong performances in the Judges' Auditions and Semi-Finals gave him a spot as one of the nine finalists to perform in the Grand Finals.

How has your life changed since Asia's Got Talent 2?
And while Lee Je Hoon has worked with several A-listers like Cho Jin Woong, Kim Hye Soo, and Shin Min Ah, he still found himself starstruck when he came face-to-face with his favourite celebrity, G-Dragon. His adorable encounter with the BIGBANG member on a variety show earned him an invitation to the singer's concert!

What was your favourite moment during Asia's Got Talent 2?
My favourite moment has to be during my performance in the semi-finals when I received a standing ovation from the entire audience. I was so happy that my magic worked, and the audience and judges could understand the message that I was trying to convey.

Do you still keep in touch with any of the acts from your seasons?
Definitely! I am still in touch with most of the acts from season 2, and we'll make it a point to meet-up whenever they come to Malaysia. So far, I've met ADEM Dance Crew, Neil, Urban Crew and DMX Comvalenoz. We are like a family now, and I'm so proud to these talented people my friends.

What are you looking forward most to see in season 3 of Asia's Got Talent?
I am so excited to see the new Asian talent, especially the magicians. I think this new season will be great and I wish the contestants the best of luck.

Do you have a message for your fans?
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your love and support. I hope my story inspires you and that you'll be able to pursue your dreams as I did. Thank you very much.
